How do I become an Air Traffic Controller
Hi air traffic controllers ,I'm a young girl who was always interested in these amazing career , I see my self one day being one of U guys ,but I have a problem on how to apply for a recruitment ,can you please help me ,I really would appreciate it if U help me

Dear Pnash,
I love your level of determination which is essential to become yourself into a proficient air traffic controller. There are some personality traits that are essential for the air traffic controllers’ profile and probably you have them. With training and experience in the field you will sharpen them. I am inserting that list below.
My first suggestion is you to seek information from the Civil Aviation Authority, or the Air Navigation Service Provider. The should be able to provide information about recruitment dates, procedures, training, etc.
Many training centers don’t have remote training capabilities, so their ATC training Center training services are somehow limited. Here in the US we have everything; from virtual class training, virtual flight training, virtual Aerodrome (Control Tower) and Surveillance training. Some time in the future I hope we’ll be able to transfer such technology which minimizes downtown in case of national emergency and supports 24/7 high quality, reliable and accurate training.
From Africa, I have had the honor to train ATC students from Nigeria, Zimbabwe and Angola and they have succeeded against all odds. In the meantime, please keep focus, inquire, and work towards your goal. There is nothing more effective than sheer determination.
